The fan box is perfect, nice scratch building going on there. 
I also love the mini roof rack. How did you assemble that rear panel with the segments on it?
There 's a lil update again, i almost finished all the roof props, except the tank on both side, the radar in the back and some wiring and details directly on the roof rack. I cant wait to fix all togheter on the rook rack and see tha result, finally the only pieces a used from the old roof is that box for the fan, the other was useless or too big…
90% of all those item are built with wood cylinder of different size and popcycle stick, and a couple electronics part sfrom any card from video, tv or every crappy electronics device. The decals are like the real on the ecto, i draw em in illustrator than print em on a sticker paper… voila

I have to say I’m impressed, you put alot of work into this and it’s looking amazing. Greaat stuff. It’s making me want to revisit mine.
These little project is fun to do. It keep me busy until i’ll get a place to build a Proton pack. I need a place where i can let sleep it when i dont feel to work on, but in my apartment, all room are full 
After done this ecto im thinking to start my other Kenner in Ecto 1A or buy the old 4 Ghostbusters and modifiy em with mini props like PeteVenkman_Jedi did, they are totally insane!
Looking forward to seeing both of those, should you decide to do them. 
Holy SHIT this is some incredible work!! I’ve so very impressed by your attention to detail especially with the colors…everything is so sharp! I can’t wait to see this thing finished, it’s going to look absolutely incredible!!
This project is almost done now… I finished putting and fixing all props together. There is not space in the roof rack as the real ecto 1 but it keep the ‘‘toy’’ look of the kenner ecto 1. For myself im happy of the result, a reproduced all props as the best i can do. I built everything from A to Z except from the fan Box, i get it from the original ecto roof.
The next step will be to build the ladder, build and connect the different cable from the roof rack to the car itself, built the antenna and it will be done i think…

Not exactly, but it a similiar shape but just a bit more little. I got it from an electronique card. I broke the first i tried to work on… but a white christmas light is not a bad idea at all Everythings can be a potential ecto parts!
The more funny part is the radar… i was unable to find the quarter plastic sphere, i take a long time to search it and i finally got it from a toy attached to a baby feeding-bottle LOL a big 2$ for an ecto radar!!!
Please post some pix when its closer to being finished. Wow! awesome job!
