Does anyone have a recording or links or a recording of this siren? As I’m building my Ecto replica I’m trying to get the main siren, the theme song and the alternate one. I realize that I probably could’ve put this in the Ectomobile subforum, so my apologies.
Thanks, but I’ve already checked out that site. The siren I’m referring to is in the montage. I would record it but I don’t know how to seperate it from the music…

I think if it was as easy to seperate it from the movie as you think it is, we would have done it years ago… The fact is, it’s not easy to do and that’s why sites like that HBprops (or whatever) just loops one cycle to make the siren sound…
I know what you mean about the montage siren, I think it’s sped up a bit… But good luck finding it.
I don’t think that it’s easy to do, I was just curious to know if someone else has already done it. It never occured to me though that it might be sped up, that’s something to check into though…
I was looking for this, too, but I couldn’t find it. I decided to try and make it. I think I got it close, but not perfect. I had the sounds from the link above already on my computer, so I opened one of them in my sound editor, cropped it to one cycle of the regular siren, reversed it, played with the speed and pitch for a while, cropped it, then made it into a 30 second loop.
I’ve manipulated my own. I think this is pretty doggone accurate, but by no means 100%
I’ve had your siren on my playlist for some time now, but I figured you deserved to have your hard work editing it out rewarded by seeing (and hearing) it in use on a real car.
