We’ve been experimenting with a new Ecto Cooler recipe recently, and I wanted to share this. I think it really improves on the other guys’ Chicago Division recipe that got passed around a few years ago in part because with this one, you get the nice bright green color that you remember.
Anyway, here it is.
What size bottle of juicy juice did you use? I’m seeing a few different sized bottles. Also for flavor enhancer, are you taking about like a mio product?

48 oz. bottles.
The water enhancer can be Mio, I’m sure. I just used the Target version.
Feel free to experiment. Find out what you like best.
Started the search for this today. My Walmart doesn’t carry juicy juice so I have to make another store run elsewhere. I might also try the hi-c lava orange burst as well.
Let me know how it tastes. the important thing is the tangerine orange flavor enhancer, but the more of that you add, the more opaque the mixture gets, and the harder it gets to turn it bright green.
Tried the hi-c and mio together. Really sweet.
The original recipe is better thus far but next round is to replace the juicy juice with hi-c.
This went over really well at our party this weekend. We made a pitcher of Ecto Cooler and I was thinking maybe some people might try it. We add a little more green then what you call for, but people loved it and wanted us to make more. So glad you guys put this together. Thank you.

I’m in Canada so the most important ingredient, Juicy Juice, is not even available where I am lol. I was at least mostly able to make the Chicago Division one, but it tasted more like it would of came from the large jug version which tastes a little different, instead of the juice box.
