Ecto Cooler recipe?

Can someone hook me up with a good recipe for Ecto Cooler? Any help would be appreciated.

No offense AJ, but that recipe tastes nothing like Ecto-Cooler. Let me lay it down for you jade88. This is what you’re going to need.

  • Hi-C Orange Lavaburst juice boxes (comes in boxes of 10). I usually buy 3 cases (30 juice boxes) to make a gallon. Now, with this recipe, you’re basically taking an already existing Hi-C flavor and you’re adding the missing ingredients to make Ecto-Cooler.

  • Tangerine Juice. I recommend fresh or not from concentrate. Lately, i’ve been using tangelos instead. I have had amazing batches ever since substituting it. Tangerine juice will still give it the flavor you’re looking for, but I think the tangelos give it that spot on taste.

  • Green food coloring.

Here’s how you mix it:

You take three Hi-C Orange Lavaburst juice boxes, which will make 6.5 fluid ounces and pour it into a pitcher. Then you’re going to mix it with 2/4 cup of tangerine juice. You repeat this mixture until you fill up your pitcher. Then add 1 to 2 drops of green food coloring. Seriously, don’t go overboard on the food coloring. Don’t do anymore than 2 drops! If you do, you’ll make it look like Kool-Aid, whereas Ecto-Cooler had a very, very light brownish lime green color to it. Stir it up and you’re done. You can enjoy it cold or at room temperature. Do this and let me know what you think.
