ECTO-S.........

Here is my project that I started a few months ago. A 2008 Motobravo 49cc Roketa Scooter dubbed ECTO-S

So far I’ve added decals, reflective caution tape, and 40 Green LEDs under it. I plan to add 8 Orange LEDs to the glovebox area this week and later on I plan adding a trunk, Amber Light and mini-flood light on a custom bar. Also got a sound/siren system planned out, with the amp arriveing soon.

This is my 1st project I’ve ever done in my life, with so far no help what so ever from anyone, except watching youtube videos and reading online about any info I need. I don’t even currently have any schooling in mechanics of anykind either.

You shouldn’t have done that. There’s lots of scooters out these days.

Scooters made a comeback and was very popular in the 80’s. I believe Honda was the one that made it popular again but I am not sure.

Since it was so easy to get one and drive one, we start seeing some laws being made for it and than it wasn’t so popular anymore or at least in California.

I don’t think Scooters will ever be as popular as it was in the 80’s but we now see scooters getting popular for gas mileage and for young college students.

Heh, Yea. I chose Silver as it made me think of ECTO’s white and it’d make is stand out more.

After seeing a YouTube video I’ve also thought about adding a Nitrous tank to it and panting it Yellow to make it like ECTO’s Air tanks. It’d accellerate faster then a 150cc then, perfect in a emergency…

If anyone has any Ideas and more Scooter knowledge, let me know. I want to increase acceleration on her a bit.

Haha… I live in South GA, so I hear people refer to any soda as Coke. But, like you, I try not to label generics with popular brand-names… I did let slip with that “Vespa” comment earlier, though.
