He mentioned he was working on it.. ![]()
Good old poly-count-bumping subdivisions..
Oh and did you do the dirt on a separate layer? Then you can use the same texture for clean and dirty versions. But you probably knew that already ![]()
Somewhat off topic, I don’t think I’ve ever modelled anything more than 100,000 polys.
Yeah, I mostly model for games so its lowest poly count as possible. This Ecto looks great. Even better than that other one that was floating around here a while ago. I started an Ecto a few years ago but never got to finishing it. Which is kinda pointless now that this one is parked here ![]()
The last 6 or 7 years, I’ve been modelling for Poser and Daz Studio content, and I also come from the old school modelling where 100 polys sounded high.
Seeing this ecto has inspired me to try my hand at some GB related 3d modelling myself.
Finished the Ecto 1! I’ll try to get to some more shots of it from different angles. I’ll probably re-render the Ecto 1a with a cleaner body since it’s “newer”
Thanks for viewing!
Positively spectacular! Can’t wait to see the clean versions of both!
Hot DAMN that is a crisp model!
Haha Boomerjinks… clean is so boring! But ill get one for ya ![]()
Clean is boring. Clean with smoke and backlighting in a perfect recreation of the door-opening scene… is not!
I admire your not-so-subtle powers of suggestion… ![]()
when can we get some sick highres versions of these?
Thats epic!! :DD
Not so sure about the head rests.
Wow! This would be amazing to put in my University project!
