So, back when the HasLab was initially announced to be both the Ecto-1 and Ecto-1A, I had two ideas: a pop on upgrade set to make the Ecto-1B and the modern version of Ecto-1 from Frozen Empire. Me being a sucker for punishment decided to do the Ecto-1B first.
Anyway, fast forward to Wednesday when I get my Ecto-1. I assembled it and then immediately went to work taking measurements and hunting down every reference picture I could find of the Ecto-1B. I know it needs more work and it’ll never be 100% accurate, but I’ll keep plugging away at this here and there as I find time.

Very nice. I only backed one deluxe so I’m probably going to have to keep it an OG Ecto but seeing everyone’s pics makes me want to try mixing and matching the individual rooftop pieces.
That looks great. Is it 3D-printed?
It is! I’s what I do for a side gig and a hobby. I’ve 3D printed life sized RGB gear and my personal proton pack is 3D printed and is a mishmash of every '84 pack variation. It’s fun
Still not sure what I’m going to do with the files. I might toss them up on my Etsy shop.
It looks fantastic so far. You should post them up on Etsy. People will buy it. Im sure of it
Funny you should say that! I did
You should run some red lights and post both the files and printed parts.
I will offer the printed parts at some point (probably January), but at this moment, I’m SWAMPED and rather not add multi-part orders to the list.
What is your Etsy shop? I do a lot of custom work and I’d love to take a look.
