just a question. has anyone ever tried to make and EGB ghost trap?
well this has been discused a few times…some p[eople said that a frisbee for the main base or peice might work but ive never tried it and i dont know that anyone has actually built one ..just brainstormed…
i thought so. i was just asking because im gonna be making some EGB equipment, maybe because im one of the only people who like the way they looked.
I like their equipments too! Proton Gun is pretty neat i think

Your Not I have a line of regular protonpacks but now I’m working on a line of EGB stuff and I’m working on the equipment that Kylie used for my wife. But there is really no pics of her stuff so I just took that concept and made my own design with parts from a reg proton pack.

see i bought the episodes awhile ago and ive
always loved the way the equipment looked now while
they arent the originals i think they were pretty decent
upgrades. the packs themselfs are awesome.
if you want i could get you some pics of kylie’s gun and other stuff from the episodes to help make it alittle easier to make um.

Sure anything of the trap would be good as well while I don’t think it’s a difficult design any refrence pics with good detail is good as well. Hey thanks man I appreciate all the help.
Keep in mind this was an animated cartoon series. Building these things to actually function might not be possible, and it it is, probably requires a lot more time and energy then something that has actually already been made. The only reason we are at where we are today in GB equipment is thanks to AJ, Norm, Venkman71, Stefan, and others who got and studied screen caps, and pictures of the real stuff in order to determine exactly what was used, measurements, etc. For EGB you will be building a concept which was never actually made therefore will have to estimate size and what can be used. I am not trying to discourage anyone from trying, but just know what your getting into before you jump head first.
Thanks for the heads up ice but your words don’t discourage but encourage me. That means I get extra liberties in building an EGB pack that a regular pack really dosen’t allow for. I think if you have extra liberties it can give you more to work with and more freedom to do what you want. 
i agree. the thing with me though is that everyone has the original equipment to some extent (because everyone approaches building gb props differently) but i wanna have something different. it may be difficult to build anything from EGB but not impossible and since most people have the same way of thinking about cartoon equipment it will make having done this even more worth it in the end. i could easily have said i want a proton pack so im gonna look at some plans and put one together but if im gonna have a proton pack i want it to be special. i love the way the EGB packs look at thats why im going for that. i havent desided if im gonna work on the trap yet but i know that im gonna make the pack and pke meter.

I am actually anxious to see what you guys can come up with. Someone on here made a RGB Egon costume with pack, so I am not saying it cant be done, because thats living proof that it can be done. Like him, you will be raising the bar when it comes to GB props.
