Does anyone know a good place to get a real good Egon style wig and a pair of fake specs?
I was thinking of buying an Elvis type wig and giving it a trim. What do you guys think?
actually funny thing I thought about this the other day, I have an Elvis wig with the sideburns and stuff you said would have to modified. Well it’s a rubber wig. It doesn’t quite have that funnel look thoughI saw a picture on flickr of some girl that used I think Expanding foam to make an Egon wig lol

Well looking at proptopia, I guess you meant the Harold Ramis Egon, that didn’t even occur to me 
It seems to me that everyone just likes to make their own uniform for their own identity, which is cool of course…i’ve got my own flightsuit with my name on it. But i also have a “Spengler” nomex flightsuit and this halloween i’m going to dress up as close to egon as i can…and considering that i am bald…a wig is a must.
It would be interesting to see you guys posting pics of yourselves in as accurate a movie pose as possible trying to look just like the real thing. Rays hair was also pretty big too.
I’ll post pics when i locate the proper hair doo. Let me know if you find anything.

That was when I first got my ALICE frame. On Halloween I was just myself though without glasses. I never really intended to be Egon, I just feel some last names don’t look so good on a nametag like mine, plus with sweet names like Spengler, Venkman etc its hard to not want to have the “character” jumpsuit.
I may try to really be Egon next time, my hair just has to be longer and stick it up, though it’s not as curly as Ramis’ maybe look for some cheap glasses at the dollar store or something that look a little better than my real glasses. I used to wear glasses that looked more like Egon’s.

i recently saw these harry potter cheap costume glasses in toys r us and i didnt think of it at the time, but dont they look ALOT like egons glasses? both HP and egon have that very circular dark framed glasses, so i was thinking, would a HP glasses work well as egon glasses?
