Starting this thread for reviews/experiences with Epic props based in the UK.
I understand a few years ago, people had trouble getting orders. Recently the business has “relaunched” to attempt to re-establish itself, so this thread can be used to review any recent orders.
I’ve ordered many parts over the years, replacement metal ion arm for Haslabs pack and metal bellow, Aztec whistle, resin minirad, ribbon cable, clamp, banjos… probably other stuff as well.
I’ve ordered about £60-70 worth of stuff as on the beginning of February this year (2026), it’s been about 2 weeks and no update yet but it’s early days, I’ll report back with hopefully some good news as and when it happens.
Just as an update, I got my order after 3 Weeks, I got a reply within 24 hours of sending them a message and everything arrived as it should have. Overall aside from maybe the need to communicate with the customer over the expected wait since every is made to order, I was pretty happy with the outcome. I was a bit hesitant to order from them as I’ve heard the stories about past transgressions, but I as I live in Ireland local GB suppliers are few, so I’m happy to report I’d probably order from them again if the need arises. Hope this helps.
I wonder the same thing:
I´m thinkig about buying the fully build NST Neutrona Wand with GPStar II Electronis for my 84 Pack. But I hasite because they don´t reply to any of my mails <did you hear anything new of them?
Everytime I’ve messaged (literally thinking of doing the same thing youre doing) and responses were fast and insightful. Maybe try using the app on their website.
Thank you for your response
That is strange and very interesting.
I tried to reach them through the contact page and via mail. Nothing
I will try the app then. Can you tell me where to find it?
If you use your cell phone and go to the website, it should be a banner on the top that directs you to download the app. Download it and then use the message feature.
I don’t have any experience with the build quality or accuracy. I’ve been wanting to order one and see how it goes. Currently have 2 Hasbro 84 packs that are wandless.
Years ago, I purchased their ecto goggle kit. It was… fine. The cast was thick and pretty ugly but it did the job. I ended up selling them once there were better options available.
Here is a REALLY old video I posted of them on my channel.
Very cool thank you very much.
That is an interesting inside how they fabricate stuff.
I still hope to get some feedback from them about my Wand questions.
Once I got something useful I will tell you guys.
Hi everyone,
I wanted to give you a quick update on my experiences with Epic Props UK and my purchasing decisions.
To cut a long story short… I won’t be ordering the Neutrona Wand from Epic Props UK.
I did manage to get in touch with them eventually, thanks to the app. Unfortunately, however, I wasn’t very satisfied with the answers I received regarding the Neutrona Wand.
For instance, I didn’t get an answer as to whether the “pop” mechanism is installed in the barrel.
Nor did I get information on how screen-accurate the wand’s design is.
I also wasn’t very happy with the answers regarding the GPStar components used.
I was told that they don’t install the complete GPStar electronics kit for Neutrona Wands but rather just the GPStar Neutrona Wand II JST board; Epic Props UK handles all the wiring themselves.
That leaves me unsure about how everything will eventually interface with the Proton Pack electronics or what kind of light is installed in the barrel.
There are too many uncertainties there for that price point. I think I’ll keep looking around.
However, I did order the all-metal Proton Pack shock mount and the HasLab V-hook from them.
Hopefully, not much can go wrong with those
Have you looked into the Throwing Chicken wand? His are basically the best resin wands you can get. I know he sells on Etsy but don’t know if he has any in stock currently.
