Ernie Hudson Facts...

Obviously in a similar vein as the infamous Chuck Norris jokes only with someone more deserving of the honor. Created by my roommate Cody and myself out of pure love for Ernie who seems like one of the nicest people in the world and the original badass.

Feel free to create your own tributes to this great man.

-Ernie Hudson doesn’t use a proton pack. He simply stares at the ghost until they put themselves in the trap.

-At the end of Ghostbusters, all four Ghostbusters yell the line, “I love this town!” The power of Ernie Hudson’s voice drowned out the other three. Ernie’s declaration could be heard in all five boroughs.

-Ernie Hudson once completed the Indy 500 in a total of 17 minutes while driving the Ecto-1. The footage was never broadcast and was immediately erased by the U.S. department of defense.

-In 1984 Hostess was prepared to discontinue the manufacturing of Twinkies due to low sales. Ernie Hudson’s delivery of the line, “That’s a big Twinkie” caused sales to skyrocket.

  • To prepare for his role in Congo, Ernie Hudson entered the jungle with only a bowie knife and the will to defeat a silverback gorilla.

  • Ernie Hudson always wears his GB flight suit underneath his regular clothes…just in case.

Just a jumping off point. The man is a legend and the facts must be revealed.

I approve this message

BEST THREAD EVER!

Finally there is someone to de-throne Norris. :whatever:

Here’s mine:

“Don’t make direct eye contact with Ernie Hudson. That shit will turn you white.”

Ernie Hudson is, in fact, a god.”

There’s a reason the animated version of Winston doesn’t look like Ernie Hudson. It’s a little known fact that if one attempts to draw Ernie Hudson, their pen immediately bursts into flames.

Ernie Hudson couldn’t voice Winston in the Real Ghostbusters cartoon because then the studio would’ve had to call it “Winston…and those other guys”

There is no Dana, there is only Zuul…unless Ernie Hudson is around. Then there is only Ernie.

Ernie Hudson had to sing “Who you gonna call?” on the original demo of the “Ghostbusters” theme song, because he is the only man whose singing voice can result in a unanimous cheer.

CORRECTED TEXT FROM GBII

Ray: [of the insulting birthday party kids] Ungrateful little yuppie larva. After everything we did for this city.

**Winston: **Yeah, we conjured up a hundred-foot marshmallow man, blew the top three floors off an uptown high-rise, ended up getting sued by every city, county, and state agency in New York, and I am Ernie Hudson!"

Ghosts did not in fact exist until Ernie was given a steady paycheck to believe in them.

This has grown into possibly my favorite thing in the world…next to Ernie Hudson.

The walking Statue of Liberty in “Ghostbusters II” wasn’t a special effect. The power of having Ernie Hudson step onto a national monument literally caused stone to become mobile.

The city wide blackout in Ghostbusters II was not caused by the other three Ghostbusters but actually the raw power of Ernie Hudson, “…I’ll punch your lights out!!”

In the original script for “Ghosbusters”, Winston Zeddemore was also a scientist…but Ernie Hudson is more powerful than any science.

Some people wonder how the guys were able to generate so much positively charged slime so quickly at the end of GB2. The answer is simple, Ernie smiled.

The total negative energy required to create the entire river of slime was spawned by one man and his supreme hatred of Jell-O. Ernie Hudson.

The ghost train in GB2 was not actually a ghost, but a real train. The power of Ernie’s yell simply caused it to dissintegrate around him.

Ernie Hudson is so powerful that he can summon two simultaneous posts related to slime.

Ernie Hudson, the real reason the toaster danced.
