Thoughts on this pack? Any info on the builder?

A quick search result didn’t reveal anything currently listed here for “captrob8423”.
The Pack certainly photographs well, and does look pretty reasonable in the shots provided. I’m a bit wary about the seller describing it as “the best” in the listing.
There aren’t any alarm bells for me that’re ringing so far, so it seems like a reasonable Pack if you’ve got the money to spend on it.
It looks like a pretty decent pack, though it is a bit pricey.
Looks really good. Price is only thing that I would be concerned about. But either way it does look like a really sharp pack.

For the $4000 asking price, it should feature an aluminum wand with pop-mech included, not a resin one. There are parts on it like the washers on the ladder being too big and using SMC elbows rather than real Legris or replica legris that stand out. Also at that price, I would expect aluminal metal lables and real dry-rub transfers to be used. Overall a very decent-looking pack, but the $4000 pus $200 shipping cost is laughable. I’d rate actual value for parts/labor/electronics/finishing to be $1800 to $2400.
The price asking was $4000 or best offer, I didn’t expect to sell it for that much, and I didn’t even want to sell the pack, but when you hit a financial wall you have to give up some of the things you don’t want to. The pack didn’t go for that price and had a barrel popping mech. I didn’t expect it to sell and I didn’t want it to sell, but when you have to choose between getting rid of something you never intended on losing and having food and rent most people would choose the latter. The price was higher than I wanted, but that is the cost of getting rid of something against your will. It’s not laughable, I never wanted to get rid of it and I never expected it to sell.
I’m sorry to hear about your financial situation and that I used the term laughable. I think we all have encountered stressful situations of having to sell or give up the things we cherish to make ends meet; at least I have on several occasions. The difference is that I try to keep things realistic and not wishful thinking especially when I know I need the money. I hate that you lost something preacious to you, hope you can build another one soon.
