i don’t know if this thread exists already but what was your favorite RGB bad guy?
mine had to be the Peoplebusters
:boogieman: Boogieman! He was such a great bad guy, they brought him back a second time. I also liked Freddy Kruger. Although, it’s not 100% official, I liked Freddy as a Ghostbuster villain in Freddy vs Ghostbusters the fan film.
I liked Freddy in his own movies because he was so over the top, he was actually funny. So, to go up against the Ghostbusters just makes sense. Ghostbusters are science fiction comedy; Freddy is horror comedy. Freddy going up against the Ghostbusters probably could only have happened in a fan film.
Freddy shares similar characteristics with Boogieman because they both feed on the fear of children and they’re not exactly ghosts. Freddy actually kills the children while Boogieman just soaks up their fear. If it hadn’t been in a kids’ cartoon, Boogieman probably would have killed the kids, too.
I liked Boogieman a little better in Ghostbusters because nobody does Freddy better than Robert Englund, but Freddy comes a close second. If they were racing, Freddy would be .01 seconds behind Boogieman.
That gives me another idea. The Ghostbusters ought to go up against Beetlejuice. That would be a good battle.

the boogieman and the grundel were def. the scariest in my opinion
I just watched the Beetlejuice vs Ghostbusters at YouTube, Nikorasu. That is definitely one reason why you should be wearing the proper equipment. Especially against a ghost that will make you dance and possibly feed you to a sand worm afterwards.

My favourites in ranking order:
1st - The ‘ghost clones’. So deserving of a second episode, but they never got it… a fantastic premise, what could be a more perfect and unpredictable villain then a evil version of yourself?
2nd- Samhain. He had style and presense, and he was the spiritual embodiment of Halloween.
3rd- The Grundle, he was for all intends and purposes an allegory for a child molester, but handled in such an intelligent and undisgusting way.
4th- The Peoplebusters. A fun addition, if mostly a poor man’s ‘ghost clones’.
a poor man’s ghost clones? what the hell does that mean? the peoplebusters could kick the green ghostbusters asses anyday :boogieman:
Eh, for me they were no where near as meanacing… Rather incompetant, in fact. I still remember them fondly, but they could’ve been a heck of a lot scarier whilst also being ghostly. Hence, ‘poor man’s ghost clones’ in my eyes.
thats bull, the ghost clones were good but not as good as the peoplebusters cause they got weaker when they used their packs while the peoplebusters were a bit cartoony but they didn’t have the advantage they would in our world were they would have ghostpowers and the slimepacks, which would have made a great second episode
The Boogeyman, Samhaine, and the Sandman are always mentioned. I love those guys as much as anyone else. So I’m going to mention one that isn’t brought up a lot:
The Master of Shadows from “Slimer, Is That You?”
The Master of Shadows was this tall, evil-looking dude with a giant, bloated brain, and decided that Egon was a mind worthy of his attention. He challenges Egon to an intellectual contest…and shortly afterwards Egon picks the wrong time to get his brain accidentally switched with Slimer. Egon even turns this situation to his advantage, by basically confusing the self-declared “great intellect” into submission by having the transfer reversed at exactly the right time.
The Master had goofy minions and an answering machine (“The Master of Shadows isn’t home right now…”) but on the other hand his intellect and apparent power actually made him one of the more menacing villains in the show’s history.
The other one I like to mention is evil wizard Nathanial Blaque, but he isn’t a ghost and he’s from the Now Comics issues. I’ve made use of that guy in my fan fics.

Elwin Spalding and the ghosts from “The Old College Spirit” I love when Winston falls through the hole in the floor, the ghost that says “I do hope he hurts himself” don’t know if they could have gotten away with that today as easily 
I preferred the Ghostclones over the peopl Busters… for one at least Poor Winston got a clone, He doesn’t have a People Buster version of himself…
And for Two the ghostclones were scary…
So they got weaker after a while, but that’s what you get when a ghost is made from a freak accident… which mind you could happen again.
the whole smoking eyes and mouth… that was just creepy… as a kid, that was the only ghostbuster episode to ever give me nightmares… and I love it if something is scary enough to give me nightmares… I’m a nightmare addict…
The boogieman i liked ok… didn’t really think he was scary, but he made for good story telling… same with Samhein…
The sandman was kind of scary and I liked that story alot.
I also liked Wat, but Wat only got scary after possessing Peter. Peter looked freaky witht he glowing red eyes.

makes the ghostclone thing pretty versitile.
Samhain has long been my star favorite, comming in at number two I think is Killerwat and the Burmuda Triangle.
But there really are so many to choose from…
