Finaly another proton pack done and out the door. A little about me. I have been building props for about four years now for the last year I have been doing it for a living. Long hours but loving every minute of it. I am little well none in the propping community but I have been around.

oh yea! That is because the pack is almost all wood. The bottom part is plactic, casted pieces and some wood. I have a long process to make the wood not look like wood if that make sense. One thing is the type of wood that I use helps out alot. anyway cool.

Oh I see it supposed to be gray with a oliva drap base. :oops: I tryed to do a screen grab for the pic. but my photobucket would not let me. Oh well. 
No worries. Light green-dark green. Meh.
I have to agree with Ice11red’s assessment, though. Very clean…almost needs to be run through some slime river under NYC.

I see only one thing other than the resistor, and I could be wrong on this. It looks like the shock mount of the bumper is bigger than it’s suppose to be. Other than that (which I could be wrong on) solid looking pack. Does the tip of the wand extend / retract at all? Also what would it cost?

Awesome pack, I saw someone asked earlier if you’d sell them and how much you’d do it for, but didn’t see a response. What would you sell one for? And will you be selling any?
Vlix- is your crank knob, Clippard Valve, Legris fitting, etc. made from resin cast molds? Are are they the real deal? Also, you mentioned that some of the parts made from wood take time - curious as to what kind of high grade wood you use on your pack?
Lastly, I noticed you were in Dallas. My friends and I were in Plano two weeks ago http://www.questvideoproduction.com/ghostbusters.html - we shoulda hung out. It would have been cool to see a pack of yours up close.

Very clean look indeed! Great job on putting it all together man!
On this pack it is resin cast parts crank knob,clippard etc. Now on my first pack I used the real deal but- the cost is way to high for the real ones. If you start adding every thing up. $4.00 here and $12.00 there. Even with the cast parts I am out around $650. (that is for everything wood supplies, gas etc.) I do my on light the 9’s. Now with that said as far as the lights I will probably use the guy online for now because the LEDs cost around $75.00 and the boards that I make are $14.00 and then you get to the time that you spend making them well you know.
On the wood I use birch it is the best indeed. It does not have a distinctive wood grain to it. But I do have something’s that I do to the wood so it feels in what grain there is. The hole top part of the pack is wood can you tell?

I just moved to Arlington about a week ago. We must hang out some time. Oh and I have a shop in Ferris which is about 15 miles south of Dallas on highway 45 south. PM me and I will give you my number and such. Oh and the pack that is online should be coming back to my shop for upgrades. So you might get to see it in person. I think. He has not called me back after the deal or emailed.
