I have always been a Ghostbusters fan since I saw the movie on the first day it came out in 1984.
I met Dan Aykroyd a couple years back and he signed a copy the double pack GB 1&2 for me .
It was the the first time I was ever speechless, anyone who knows me can tell you that is a feat.
I decided to join this site because , I am building my first Proton Pack. We just had our first Sci-fi con in 15 yrs here in Halifax , Nova Scotia. Hal-Con has events to raise money for our local childrens hospital the IWK. I have my own plans for next years Hal-Con to do somethings for the kids who come with thier parents . One thing I plan is getting this local bakery to make Ghostbusters Cookies to pass out in bags with candy and small toys and what ever I can come up with to make things fun for everyone who comes to Hal-Con 2011.
I’m not a rich guy , that’s why I’m starting everything right after Xmas, I saw ThrowingChicken’s Thrower kits and I hope I’ll be able to get one , I hope you can guide me with any advice you can , I have Stefans plans I will be going with as a guide.
Oh. I should mention I had the inflatable pack and cheap costume for Hal-Con 2010 , but the funny thing was I never saw people so happy , Ghostbusters has always made me feel better and it just seemed to bring out that childhood joy in everyone I walked past all weekend long.
