I got a 6’ roll of 3/4” foam pipe insulation for like $2.75 at Home Depot. Figured if I screwed it up I’d have extra for a redo, I think it came out just fine.

White beach “noodle”. Paint the ends black and seal with Mod Podge. Very close to screen accurate.

3/4” internal diameter, I can shoot a picture of it later today when I get home.

I say use the beach noodle. Much more comfortable! I picked one up at the dollar store and had enough left over to make several more. Just cut to size, add slits for the shoulder straps, paint the ends with acrylic paint, wrap in black tape, secure with zip ties and you’re done.

3/4" pipe insulation, cut a notch on the back side so it can move back and forth wth the middle bar

It has adhesive so I just sealed it around the straps

Thats what it looks like all together, still trying to find some LC-1 straps but all I’ve been able to find is a left, so it’s these for now!
