So, I’ll try and be brief - This seems the easiest way to reach a wide number of franchises and fans in one fell swoop.
A couple of years back I edited Duck Soup’s Barbra Streisand in honor of The Fourth Man, Winston Zeddemore. I did it because it’s a great track, but Babs isn’t a hero of mine. So I did. And since then, I’ve been meaning to take the official music video to the original track and mash it up as well - partly because it has some amazing musical cameos and partly because it’s a giant New York Is Awesome video. It seemed fitting then to edit it to feature more Winston love while keeping as much of the Cool New York vibe as well. But as much as the nightlife scenes are awesome, I’d like to invite in ghostheads - I have no plan of who I need doing what. In fact, while I can always use people saying “Winston Zeddemore” in the video (you’ll see what I mean), I’m just as interested in raw, candid footage of franchises out and about. This means, on the plus side, that I don’t need all new footage (other than saying “Winston Zeddemore”) - any outtakes or con footage will do. If I can pull this off, I’d like to gently swap out some of the New York nightlife footage and replace it with a sense of just how wide the fandom is.
So, if anybody is interested, I just need video by mid-October (I’m setting Halloween as a finish date, just so I can clear it off my side project list)
