A little off topic, but what does one do at such a booth. I’ve been thinking about exhibiting at conventions some time in the distant future, and I’m trying to figure out how to do it without going bankrupt.
Unfortunately you have to have some money saved up, because its usually not cheap to have a booth unless the con likes what you do and wants you there so they offer you a free booth. My buddy Neal (Venky) and I set up some of our work and pretty much let people know what we do and that we want to do this kinda of thing professionally. We didnt sell anything, but in the end it was all positive feedback. Maybe even sold a couple Giga meters

So you basically did a portfolio table? Interesting.
Just a heads up for everyone interested, the molds are going to be sent off to get pressure cast tomorrow, so these should be ready within a few weeks.

Molds dropped off today. Gonna do limited runs of 5 at a time. If you are on the list you will be notified when the casting is ready and where to send payment.

Todd, I had a look around for that mechanism diagram you mentioned for the Giga ears, I haven’t had much locating it… do you remember the topic you got it from?

But that’s because you have a decent comprehension of it, my electronics experience at school was very limited. I can rewire a plug properly, but when it comes to motors and cam setups, I’m a rank amateur. Still, the information’s a huge help, and I’m looking forward to the next kit update.
