So, not much to say other than good riddance. I love this thing but if any part or detail falls off I’m going to chuck this thing into a fire and sing. This has been a five year project since college started and after a couple more details on the thrower and electronics, it will be 100% complete. Until then, this is close enough for me to say it’s done!
Years of work all came to a beautiful end Proton. Hard to think that was the same bent wood pack we saw in raw form not long ago. Scratch building at it’s best.
I have a couple progress pictures in my profile if you care to see. As a result of me working on this for a couple days a year, I don’t have many other pictures than those. All you missed were some glued together pieces of scrap plywood, $1000 worth of wood filler and sandpaper, and the tears of grown man.
I also don’t plan to weather it. The real ones weren’t weathered and just got beat up over time, which will surely happen to this one as well.
