Just thought I’d let you all know that there is currently a guy on ebay.com who is selling defender elbow pads in all sizes for less than $10. I wont post the link as I have learnt that this is frowned upon (sorry again).
He says he bought a load from a bankruptcy auction so get in there quick before they disappear.
Those pads have been on ebay for a while. The problem with them is that the seller only has small and medium in white, and large is the size most people use. Not to mension it is about $7 in shipping, so your looking at almost $17 in the end.
Couldn’t you remove the color with RIT color remover? Or atleast make it a duller black/grey.
I got mine from that guy a few months back. My problem was I forgot to specify which size I wanted and he sent me medium in the white. They were quite tight on the elbows, but once I had the extra material cut off and re-hemmed up, it fits a lot better now. I don’t have super beefy arms, but I’m also not skin and bones.
So if you’re needing some pads, and you plan on cutting them down to GB size, I’d recommend getting medium white from this dude. Back when I got them, it was $13.00 shipped. Not sure what they’d be now.

As stated earlier by AZSpidey that guy has been on there for a couple of months and has only small and medium left in white. Back in september when I bought mine he was already out of large and I spent a total of 11 dollars all together including the shipping, now they cost almost that without shipping. so unless you are super skinny or a petite girl its not worth buying the mediums.

I have some mediums on the way. I’m thinking I can add some black elastic in the middle to make them not as tight. I know the movie ones ripped, but surely theres a way to fix that.
Honestly it amazes me that people are so stuck on saving a few dollars that this vendor still comes up, even though the pads are incorrect, and many people have had several delivery issues with this seller… They are completely sold out of the right pads… It was good while it lasted but they have sold out…
It was even better before someone blabbed to them that they were similar to the ones used in GB, causing them to jack the price up, a lot…
The mediums are too small for most, and the blacks are well black and you can’t ‘bleach’ the color out…

You could still paint them if they’re black you know. The only problem would be the armband. But you can replace that if you have a sewing machine.
