I really really hate to let these go but need some cash for some vehicular type issues. I paid $500.00 for the both of them and honestly have no idea what they are worth. I dont know even a price to ask but looking to at least get my money back or best offer. I’m open to any offers out there.

They are in very clean condition without any tears or rips. Only tears are the perforated tears to actually pop the 3D poster out and display. No fading in color and they look awesome next to a pack. It took a long time for me to find them so I’d say they are rarer then most items. Then again I stand to be corrected.

Let me know what u think.

I think they are awesome. But I’m also broke so I can’t make any monetary offers :frowning:

Those are all Video Store standees.

Nice set indeed.

Good luck with your sale

They hVe been the gem of my collection. If anything does anyone have any info on these? Even if I can’t sell them I’d like to learn more about them

Those were used to promote the films when they came out for video rental.

You could only get them if you worked at a video rental place,

Or sweet talked the owner of your local video store and they were willing to part with them.

The standee with the 3 guys and Slimer is from the first video release.

Almost had that one myself, but another person beat me to it at my local shop.

If you look at the bottom corners of your standees and posters,

You can see the video release logos.

The Boxes were made to look like versions of the Video sleeves/covers

Its a very nice collection

I have one of the GB1 cardboard video cassette boxes too. I’ve wondered how much it would be worth. I also have a 3D cardboard pop out display for the RGB on video cassette from the 80’s that I’ve wondered about…

The worth is my big question. Don’t even know where to get then appraised. All I knew was I kept seeing them sell for over 500 each and when this guy on eBay had them for 500 for both I hopped on it

I actually saw one on ebay go for like 150 few months back. Im talking the gb1 standee.

I have a HUGE theatrical poster that was sent to our local video store back in the day too. It’s probably over 5 feet tall and was printed on a really thick stock of paper.. It hung in my room for my entire childhood… where I decided it would be a good idea to stick some stickers to it as well… :frowning: I REALLY wish I could go back in time and have a talk with younger me about the care and value of toys in the future…

Ouch. That would hurt me too. I may just hold onto these. Unless a good offer comes through

These are amazing, not sure where you can find out the price but google is a great thing. If there is a market people will pay almost anything. At least thats what they tell me. Tell you the truth I would sell my Xbox and my left nut before I would part with those.

You’re best bet maybe just to hang on to these for the investment you made on them. They are sweet though OR throw them on ebay and see what happens.

I’ll take the kind advice. They do mean a lot to me. Mods please lock as I’m not gonna sell anymore. If anyone has more info on these a pm would be greatly appreciated
