Are you the proud owner of an all-singing, all-dancing Belt Gizmo but have no way of attaching it to your belt? Then rejoice! Presenting the EctoLabs Belt Gizmo Holsters.
These holsters are available in two styles (based on those that appeared in GB1 and GB2) and handcrafted from premium 2.5mm thick veg & pit tanned leather, and set with silver coated brass rivets and snaps. They have been specifically designed to fit the EctoLabs GIZMO 8400 and 8900 kits perfectly, but will be compatible with any other gizmo motherboards with a maximum width of 10cm (3.9").
GB1 Style
The GB1 holster is styled after the modified tape measure holders used in the early location shoots for the first movie. It has vertical slots with a height of 65mm to accommodate standard 55mm pistol belts. Pair this with a Sanyo 808D circuitboard replica for the most accurate GB1 look.
GB2 Style
The GB2 holster is modelled from reference photos of the stunt gizmos used in Ghostbusters II. It features an oversize band and has vertical slots with a height of 78mm - these will accommodate standard 55mm pistol belts, black 2¼" pistol belts (such as the one sold on the GBFans store), as well as custom 3" GB2 belts.
Attaching the Motherboard and Battery
Each holster ships with an extra strong self-adhesive Velcro strip to help secure your Gizmo to the holster and to prevent it from slipping. Also included is a special clip designed to mount a 9V battery on the back of the holster. Use a section of the Velcro strip to keep the battery and its wire secure and out of sight while wearing your belt with a flight suit.
