Hi all,
Over in my other thread I’m documenting customising my Haslab Two in the Box. I’m going for a more GB1/1984 accurate look. It’s early days, but I don’t know as much about traps as I do packs and wands, so I’m wondering if some of the more experienced builders on here could please help me out with a few questions I have?
First up is the pedal, and specifically the ribbon cable assembly. Am I right in thinking that for a GB1 pedal:
- The GBFans Grey Ribbon Cable (26-Pin) is correct?
- The GBFans 26-Pin Trap Pedal Grey Header fixes to the pedal body on the left-hand side (when viewing the pedal from the back)?
- The GBFans 26-Pin Ribbon Cable Connector then connects the ribbon cable to the above header?
- The GBFans D-Sub Connector Hood fixes to the pedal body on the right-hand side?
- The ribbon cable goes straight into the D-Sub Connector without another connector or adaptor?
- The D-Sub Connector is black for GB1, not grey?
