I know some of us still enjoy this game and need some of those last achievements/trophies. I have this idea, that as the GBfans community, we set up a three day online meet up and play the ■■■■ out of this amazing game. We would be able to meet some of our fellow ghostheads, have fun, and help each other grind for those achievements we still need. What do you guys think? Any takers? Feel free to post your thoughts here and pass the word along. Also add your suggestions for the dates for when this should take place.
i’m always looking for someone to play with
drooprapposelli
add me and when ever your down send me an invite.
as soon as my network cable gets here i’ll be set up to play.
If you guys can set something up let me know and we’ll try to organize it to be huge!
Totally on board for a multi day gaming event. All of the other GB related gaming nights ive been busy or working, so having a few days is a great idea!
Will keep eyes and ears open so I dont miss out.
I’d be in. We talkin’ XBOX version or PS3 version here?
This will include both systems. I myself have XBOX, but either way we can still get everyone involved. As far as the dates for the three day event, I was thinking around the anniversary of the games release (March 31, 2009). We can plan it for March 29, 30, and the 31 which falls on a weekend. So Friday, Saturday and Sunday with Sunday being the official anniversary date. What do you guys think of that?
Also, I am glad you chimed in AJ and happy you are on board for this. I would also love for this to be huge event and hopefully revive the online multiplayer for everyone. Would you be interested in posting something up on the main page to get the word out there? I figured with the anniversary date being a little over three months away, it would give us enough time to get the word out and get everyone interested and hopefully excited to play.
Keep in mind guys… this only works if we all participate, so spread the word and save the dates. Also, please feel free to post your feedback on this idea.
I am on board, however, the game was released June 16th 2009…
Yeah, Jared. Don’t you know… Gosh! Haha. I still have the voicemail saved from Gamestop that Dan Aykroyd left for me telling me my pre-order is ready. Anyways, this is a great idea. I’m so down for this. We don’t have to do it for an anniversary or anything. We did this once on the Mattel forums and a lot of people were involved. I am also looking for a few final achievements for the game.
I’ll be down for some Xbox 360 action.
My Xbox Live name is: Not Josh Foote
Catchy, I know.
Yes, your right. I looked it up hastily and saw the first date listed. I should have remembered that the game was released to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the first films release. Well, since June is still a long ways away, I think we should try to keep the dates within the next few months and again any suggestions are welcome.
I’m in.
I just have to get my Xbox live Gold sub going again.
I say we could do the March date as a “warm up” & the main event on the June release date.

im good for whenever, the sooner the better, as I simply cannot wait! ![]()
Okay so after a little research, I think that the weekend of March 1-3 is a better idea, which will still fall on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Why? Well Wondercon is scheduled to be going on the weekend of March 29-31 and seeing as how I will be attending all three days, along with many fellow ghostheads, I feel that it wouldn’t be fair to scheduled this fun filled gaming extravaganza during such an event. It also seems that many people still need to renew XBOX live accounts to play and this new date will still give them plenty of time to do so, which is why it has not been moved to January or February. Again, I would like for this to be a fairly good size community event, so I felt it would be wise to announce it months in advance to get everyone on board. With all that said, all of those in favor of the new dates please post here so we can make it official.
Sounds like a plan to me. I have PS3, and I can’t wait. I never played the game online, so I’m definitely looking forward to this.
Did they shut down the ps3 server? Keeps saying “Connection error”

Yes the PS3 multiplayer server has been shut down indefinitely. Me had a hankering for some dry ■■■■ with a ghost the other night and whaddya know? DENIED.

That sucks. I guess that leaves PS3 gamers out then.

Alright, so it looks like bad news for those who own Ghostbusters for PS3 and wanted to get in on the multiplayer action. Now for those who own the XBOX version feel free to join us all March 1-3. Now as long as those dates are good with everyone, I think I am gonna call it officially on, so mark your calendars.
GHOSTBUSTERS MULTIPLAYER WEEKEND MARCH 1-3 2013
I just worry if ps3 is indeed shut down, then Xbox may be soon to follow. And it might be shut down by march if that’s the case. Does Xbox have a list of games that are loosing their Xbox live capabilities?
