Do you think a demo will be released before June 16th?
On another note, my brother called the local walmarts and targets a day before the new May 2009 UFC game was released. One said they were sold out and had put the game out a few days early. So, If you have not preordered, I would recommend calling your local targets and walmarts a few days prior to June 16th. You might just find it a bit early! 
Though if you pre-ordered early than chances are you would still get the game a couple of days early (granted the store you ordered at doesn’t have some massive delivery delay)

In my experience, gamestop has never gotten a game early; and if you preorder at Target and Walmart, they don’t call you and let you know that the game has arrived. Plus, when they sale a game before the release date, it is illegal; so, I don’t think most will advertise an early release.
Not my experience. We don’t have Gamestop in Australia but with our equivalent chain store GAME I usually (not always) gotten games I’ve pre-ordered with them 2-3 days early granted I pre-order early enough (since I’ll be high enough on the list). There is no early advertisement and the game probably isn’t even on the shelf at that time but that’s what they do for the people that pre-order. i got Killzone 2 four days early!
