I just did my first true investigation a couple weeks back, and there are results! Would anyone like to see the photos :)? Also does anyone else here ghost hunt? If so, I’d like to hear of your experiences :). There are a few things I can say for this investigation I was in, cool and not so cool ( but neat! ).
I’ve been a ghost hunter for about 15 years now. I am part of a group that I also co own and run. I have seen and captured many different types of hauntings and paranormal activity. And I have also had my fair share of unwanted spirits follow me home.
My group went on an investigation with some slime ball paranormal investigators in our town. We went to a park after the sun had set, that said park was on an Indian reservation. We were told and reassured by the leader that we had permission to walk around. We were walking around for bout 45 to maybe an hour went local pd showed up. Well we went to talk to them to make sure everything was ok but the professional paranormal guys ran and split: turns out they didn’t have permission ,never talked to the local tribe. Luckily we have a good rep with local pd and we got off with a light warning. But as to what happened to the wanna be ghostfacers, I have no clue, we did give them they’re names and information to the local pd and local native American tribe.
Ouch!
I remember there was some lite concern in the second graveyard during the investigation, that the locals might not like seeing people roaming around. The team I was in, if you could call it that given this was done on the fly with two people just as much into the paranormal as myself. They knew the area, and warned when trouble might happen according to what actions shouldn’t be taken. …That, and one was a sensitive that saved my butt at one point. ( I shouldn’t find that cool, should I? )
Been at it for years, wrote a book and seen some stuff. ![]()

I work for 911 and we had some kind of mildly famous group come to town for a ghost hunt. Some haunted Indian burial ground. They called ahead and told us where they would be and left contact numbers and such.
Before they were set to do the hunt we got several reports of a large black cat like a cougar roaming the area.
Sent a cop over and he spots it and has a freakout on the radio. Neighbors call in and say they can hear it crying out in the woods.
I called the paranormal investigators and a very rude guy accused me of lying. First he said I was just some guy playing a prank and he hung up on me. Then he said it was the local hicks trying to run them out of town. Then he eventually settled on a MiB style conspiracy theory and demanded copies of all our phone calls and radio traffic about this mysterious “phantom panther” he called it.
Though I tried to tell him it wasn’t a conspiracy or a ghost cougar I believe he posted some blog about it. Proof we covered up hauntings, proof an Indian spirit animal warned them from his lands.
It was just a damn mountain lion, dude. I should have let them get eaten.
Question for those of you more experienced than I at this.
I shot about 50+ photos on basically an equipment test on the second story of a motel back in May around 10pm at night. It was lightly raining, and there were light sources around me. However the rain never appeared on camera in any shots. One photo out of this batch of which over 20 were done in this shooting location out of a few, showed something in a the air which couldn’t have in my opinion been a leaf, bug, or bird in the air.
Ran the photo by a team in NJ through email, and they said it as rain, in claiming ghosts are limited to the law of gravity same as we are. But shortly after the full on investigation in the graveyards, I then talked with a group more local to me in Pasadena, TX. We were focusing on the graveyard investigation, but because of feeling I’d twice caught faces high up, too high up from the ground. I questioned if I really did see what I saw. The lady on the other end of the phone did say she’s seen faces from high up before. So the question here is did I catch something on camera back in May? Who’s right, the NJ team or the Pasadena team?
