I’m doing research on a trap build. I’m planning on making a trap with movable doors with lights. I’ve been reading all of the posts, and looking over plans and watching videos. Now, if anyone has any input on this topic, by all means show me the light. Any recommendations on which plans have been successful for proper design, electronics, movable doors, proper size of the model, etc…?
Kinda depends on which version of the Trap you’re doing. I like Venkman71’s GB2 stunt plans myself.

Cnsider if you want a trap you wear, or one just for display. a MDF trap can be heavy hanging on your belt.
So my buddy is a machinist, and he’s going to laser cut some pieces for me and assemble this bad boy… I’ll post pics as I go along through the coming months. I’m on a budget ya know lol
Does anyone recommend a servo motor that has had success in the proper motion of the trap doors?
Any servo will work, it’s all in how you set it up.
