Jason Reitman arrived with surprise guests McKenna Grace and Carrie ■■■■ in an Ecto-1.
Reitman announced Ghostbusters Give Back, an official program for fan groups to be recognized for the charity work they are involved with. Teams can sign up at Ghostbusters.com and, based upon their merits, will receive patches for their group to place on their uniforms.
Hasbro unveiled a new full-sized 1984 Proton Pack and a new set of 6-inch action figures of the original 1984 Ghostbusters as seen in their rooftop showdown with Gozer for their Plasma Series line. Both pre-orders began on June 7 with both set to ship on March 1, 2026.
Hasbro also previewed a Kenner Ecto-Glow Ecto-1 set to coincide with the San Diego Comic Con exclusive Ecto-Glow figures re-issues. Ecto-1 will be an online exclusive. Hasbro also hinted at Ecto-Glow versions of Slimer, Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, Louis Tully, and the never-released Ecto Glow Copter. These items are slated to launch between fall 2025 and sometime in 2026. Harry Moore posted a preview of the packaging.

Yes Have Some Podcast visited the Hasbro booth and previewed the Ecto-Glow collection, Plasma Series Roofttop Showdown, and 1984 Proton Pack. Ecto-Glow’s new collector’s box has a cut out door knocker on the back. Harry Moore did the artwork for the packaging to recreate the Kenner artwork. The Ecto-Glow Ecto-1 comes with a sticker sheet like one for Ectoplasm. It has the same functionality as the standard Ecto-1 and the companion ghost is also an Ecto-Glow. It will go up for pre-order around the middle of San Diego Comic Con. Any unsold Ecto-Glow Heroes packs will be put up online on the Hasbro Pulse website. Two HasLab Ectomobile prototypes were also on display, including their first non-3D model printed version. They are still early prototypes and they are in the middle of the 12-18 month development cycle. They are already expecting their next iteration in the coming weeks then continue to refine it and give feedback. The Rooftop Showdown hand painted prototype figures were on display. They are new face sculpts and deco. They are completely different from the original wave and even the figures coming with the HasLab Ectomobile. For the Proton Pack, the team redid the electronics inside, went for 1984 accuracy for the mode when it turns on, made sure the ribbon cable was very accurate, retooled the pack so it is 80% new, and went in removing all the dents, nicks aging, and cleaned it up. It won’t have the rumble motor like the Spengler Pack.
Crocs previewed their Ghostbusters Classic Clog, set to release on August 19.
