For those of us located in the Northeast, the Toms River, New Jersey Halloween Parade is a big deal. According to their website, said parade is the second biggest Halloween parade in the country. That being said, I am an intern for 95.9 The Rat, located in Belmar, NJ, and when the time came to discuss float designs for the parade, I suggested doing a Ghostbusters float. Long story short, we ended up doing it. I dressed up in my Stay Puft costume, and we had two full-on Ghostbusters with proton packs, one Ghostbuster driving the van, and two sexy Ghostbusters. The float had a wooden cutout of the Ecto-1 as the centerpiece. The judges of the parade didn’t appreciate it, but I figured the good folks on this website would. Enjoy!
