I often lose track of time when I’m in my workshop so I have been searching for a reasonably priced Ghostbusters wall clock. That search proved futile. Everything I found was either ■■■■ or outrageously priced. Time to improvise.
I didn’t take assembly pictures because the process is very straightforward.
- Get a wall clock. I chose this 10-inch LaCrosse radio controlled model from Amazon because I’m lazy and dislike setting clocks. FYI, Walmart also carries this item in-store.
Get a vinyl Ghostbusters sticker. I chose this 5-inch version from a 3rd party seller on Amazon.
Remove the glass cover, as applicable. Mine had 6 screws on the back.
Cut a circular hole in the center of the sticker slightly larger than the clock hand mechanism to prevent binding. I chose the exact center of the sticker but in also considered the center of the red “no” icon. Your choice.
I didn’t want to remove the clock hands so I cut a slit from the hole in the center of the sticker straight down (6 o’clock). You can skip this step if the hands on your clock can be easily removed.
Position the sticker on the clock as desired. If you cut a slit, you can remove the backing after placement by peeling and pressing the sticker flat as you go.
Reassemble the clock and mount on a wall of your choice.
Take solace in the realization that you will no longer be late… unless it is by choice.
