Thanks to the community and all the votes the right way, Ghostbusters will be shown, courtesy of PeachtreeTV, at the Screen on the Green in Centennial Olympic Park in beautiful Atlanta, GA.
The screening will begin at sunset on Thursday, June 25th. Admission is free, and this is an outdoor event. For more information, visit:
So who is attending? I will be there, and am open to the idea of carpooling with anyone else who’s hoping to go (I can drive or ride; I’m not picky). If a few people are planning to go, we may even see about showing up in uniform. This should prove to be a ton of fun, and I hope to see some of you there!
Well not only will I be there in gear but Peachtree TV is gonna have an area set up for us to display Ecto-1G and take donations for a handicapped boy named Cody (the one we let ride in the car in that news story I posted a while back)
I had a blast last night, getting to see a few familiar faces and some new faces as well. As Ron suggested last night, I’d love for the Georgia guys to get together more often, be it for screenings, charity events, or just for the hell of it.
I have a few pictures from the event, and I know Ron has some more:
The Central Georgia Ghostbusters’ Custom Ectomagnum. This car was REALLY popular with the Atlanta crowd.
User “Double D” and two of the Central GA Ghostbusters
Ron Daniels, reporting in on a routine spook check.
Yours truly, posing with the Ectomagnum.
Doesn’t that look fun? THIS is why you should come to these events!
