Meh Frankly it does look kinda lazy as I think ive stated before. But as others have pointed out it wasn’t supposed to be a blockbuster game. It’s just like any arcade game you down load. I mean…Its just that…an arcade style shooter. I can see where someone would think its a smash tv clone. The entire game looks like it was made of a very small budget which would explain why it looks like they rehashed a bunch of ghosts from gbtvg. It was probably cheaper to do that then hiring people to draw out concepts for new ghosts and go from there. Come on its 10.00 Though I think it doesn’t look that great I’m still gonna give it a shot. Its…just 10.00 You get what you pay for so…it could really go either way…I mean…sometimes you go to a steak house that you’ve never been to before and you buy a 10.00 steak and it just isnt any good Or its the better than sex. Same thing here. It doesn’t look impressive but atari is basically broke so what did you expect?

This means nothing. You have no idea of the decision process that went into making the game. That you’re blaming the developers instantly says you don’t know what you’re talking about. Atari hired the dev to produce a game of a certain scope, for a certain market, within a certain amount of time. That it. The devs are probably more than capable of making a bigger game, but Atari would still have to pay for it, and they obviously didn’t want to. But you’re blaming the devs.

You’re half right, but it’s the part you get wrong that shoots you in the foot - yes. Atari wants to make money off the license, and a quick buck is better than a slow dime. No duh there. But again, you have no idea the effort applied. You’ve decided, with your gut apparently, instead of a knowledge of game development, that it’s a half-assed effort when in reality it’s exactly what you’d expect to get for the development time and approximate money spent.

Not what’s happening. What happens is someone goes “More info about this game I’m interested in” a few people go “Cool!” and then someone tromps in to make sure every knows, again, that they hate it. Those that wanted to enjoy the new info get annoyed at the killjoys, and the killjoys write long posts telling everyone to stop being a bunch of sucks and they can say what they want because airing their opinion is more important to them than, say, shutting up for once, and enjoying a lack of negative attention for once.
And don’t put sycophant in quotes. It’s a proper word. And it is not us.

Honestly, my opinion of you begins and end in this thread, based on the fact that you don’t know anything about game development, but won’t let that stop you from talking shit about a decent development studio and anybody that’s genuinely interested in the game. He’s not logged in as you, he’s logged in as himself, with his account temporarily using the same permissions and settings as you - it’s a function the board system allows admins, so they can, you know, check complaints that the board is broken for someone. If he were to post, or check account settings, they would be of his own account.

If he was logged in as himself with the same permissions and settings as me, wouldn’t it still say AJ Quick up top rather than my name? Plus, I don’t see how doing that would make potential browser problems apparent to the owner/operator, but I guess there are different ways of testing that.

More and more I am seeing comments from users posted here, posted on Facebook and posted on other sites. You guys hate what you have, you hate what you get. You hate GBFans and you hate me because I run GBFans. I’ve seen similar things about ProtonCharging.com (castewar’s site) too.. so I hope he can relate to what I’m about to say.
I am an active user of this site.
If I see discussion that I do not agree with, usually as the result of a lack of forethought or lack of research or lack of brain cells… I will post either as a correction, as a rebuttal or as a difference of opinion. More times than not, this causes people to call me unfair or in the ultimate cop out claim that I am not letting people post their opinion and that they are not welcome on GBFans.
That leads to people thinking their idiotic fan boy pant legging ramblings which are made with absolutely no forethought or any kind of logic are some how “opinions” that they cram down other people’s throats even when shown that their logic is flawed by experts. They even give names to the experts trying to berate them.. “Heavies”. Eventually this leads to people claiming their opinions are not welcome… and then start attacking the site… making remarks about being glad they don’t support the website they post on every day. Then that eventually turns into people posting on other sites how they are “About to get banned from GBFans”… to try and gain sympathy from others… usually turning into further “YEAH AJ SUCKS FOR RUNNING HIS SITE. I DON’T EVEN GO THERE ANYMORE!” comments from people who are completely ignorant to the situation. That leads to some extremely eccentric people to start claiming that I’m “reading Private Messages and changing settings”.
