Ghostbusters: The Final Destruction Comic - LOTS OF PAGES

Here is some art of my ghostbusters the final destruction. I made it a long time ago. I still have to scan a lot of pages.

Best regards,

Robert :walterpeck:

I wondered what’d happened to this… been a long time, and there’s quite a few pages I don’t remember seeing.

cool stuff .

huummmm . can I try my hand at colouring a page ?

I will upload some more art soon. It was about 150 pages but I still have to shrink some pages. I am not that good with colours but if you would like to colour it..it would be nice. I also made several endings to this story.

Robert

Great stuff! I enjoyed it very much!

Unbelievable man, great work. Keep us posted when you are done!

Great artwork there..

but Leonardo Di Caprio?? WTF!

Amazing work! That must have taken like years to do.

(I’m adding a huge download warning.. so many pics!)

Hello everybody,

Glad to hear that people like the pictures. I made this a couple years ago. There is much more art. It would take a while to scan everything. This was mine idea for a ghostbusters 3 movie. I wanted to make it darker.I thought that the idea of the evil one burried under a church would be a nice idea. I made the ghostbusters a bit older. I can remember that my original story that i had written was a bit different from the comic I’ve made. In my original story the focus was on Ray and Egon who went in some sort undercover mission since ghostbusters didn’t exist anymore. Peter and Winston where mentioned in that story but after a big fight and struggles the friendship was gone between the four ghostbusters. In the end I changed a lot because I wanted to have Peter and Winston in it however some scene’s like the break into the church scene is from my original story.

Here is some more art and concepts I’ve made a long time ago.

Robert

Robert!

I must say - I had already seen a lot of your work a few years ago, but I really like the fact that you added colours to some of these pages now; it makes everything become alive a lot more; pity the dialogue is hard or not at all possible to read… If you like I could give you a hand with the dialogue thing… I’d really like that.

How’re things now anyway? Contact seemed to break down at one point again last summer, unfortunately, and I was under the impression from the forum on your site that things went a bit awry, too. Everything’s back to (para)normal?

Thanks Cornelus,

I hope to post much more pages soon

I have a question about one of the pages here

this one:

Egon watching the new recruits practice busting slimer. That’s alot like a scene from a GB3 fanscript online that i’ve read…did you get it from that or did you come up with it?

I’m not accusing you of stealing it or anything..ive just read a scene like that before and its cool to finally see something like that on paper lol

Their could be a little influence from fanscripts, real ghostbusters and idea’s that I have heard. It is always difficult not to be influenced by ideas and things from others. …at least I never have that intention to copy something. But their could indeed be some influence from ideas of others. i also remember that i’ve talked with several fans for idea’s for a story years ago. I needed something for the story where they could train the new busters. So I thought it would be logical that they would bust slimer. Since Egon and Ray are the ones who build all the equipment they should be the training supervisors.

I tried to make a bit darker story. I also wanted to bring in the devilish side of the ghostbusters…( something that also comes up in a lot of fan fiction and stories, it’s just an idea that would be fun to do ) My story would have ended by the dissapearance of the original ghostbusters..an open ending where they save the world in the end…but if they would have survived??? Or not??

At least I do hope you all like the art. It was a lot of work.

I also worked on several endings since I just had to much idea’s.

Robert

So much talent! Excellent work.

Wow! Thats one greatly drawn and inked comic! I love how you captured everyone’s likenesses on some of the pages. Don’t suppose one day you’ll add the full text to the strips any time soon?

The progress of this comic is going slowly lately but I am still busy with it. I probably need some assistance in helping

to fill in the text.

But I am still working at it.

Best regards,

Robert

I’m more than willing to help out! You wrote the original text in Dutch, right? I’d love to lend you a hand in the translating of it! I’m sure I’ve got some time to spare during the summer; and as I don’t own a Playstation or Xbox360, said sparetime won’t be taken up by playing the GB video game :whatever:

Cheerio,
