I know we’ve all been back and forth on this subject, and I’ve been a huge supporter for the side of undyed khaki. However, I’m afraid I now have to turn in my badge. It seems I have come accross undeniable proof that the jump suits were indeed… gray. How do I know you may ask? Well, another member posted this picture in the chat, and there’s no chance the suits could have been khaki. There’s no chance the lighting and bad film stock could have played with the colors at all. I speak of this photo…
It’s very clear that the suits in the first ghostbusters film were gra- Wait a second… These are GBII suits you say? Bad film stock and lighting has fucked with the colors you say? But… But that’s impossible! I have a PHD in fucking with the color setting on my computer. I have it all set in sepia so EVERYTHING looks khaki. Oh god… Oh god… Oh god!
The point here is NOT weather you should dye your suit or not. To replicate what YOU SAW on film then certainly some gray should be added into the mix, my point remains that the suits were NOT dyed. We all know how rich a khaki the GBII suits where. And to have a photo where bad film and lighting messed with the color just cracks me up to no end.
P.S. For you slower people, this is a joke thread. Please keep it that way.
OMG Murray didn’t wear his uniform in the museum scene, he hated GB and working on the second movie, he told Ivan I’m not putting all that crap on. He phoned it in!
It’s the lighting. It really throws off the skin tones, but the dark and blue lighting on the rooftop scenes really brings out the suits true gray color, which we all know is established knowledge.
