For as long as i have been alive (since 84) I have been a huge Ghostbusters fan.
My 2nd birthday was Ghostbusters themed.
My parents went through the trouble of contacting Macys corporate office by phone (in the 80’s, no internet) to find when new Ghostbusters toys were being released. I officially had every ghostbusters toy made up until about 92.
Then when i was about 8, my parents told me if i sold my GB toys, i could keep any money i made. Big mistake. I’ve been kicking myself ever since,
Fast forward 19 years, I’m still a HUGE Ghostbusters fan. I havent gotten into prop making (yet) but it seems incredible. I went to New York Comic Con and got to hold the Ghost Trap replica and all those amazing feelings came rushing back.
I’ve been lurking this site for a while but I’m looking to take things a step further now and might start on a costume. Figure i can use this account to make sure i get all the details right and ask questions.
