First off, I’m an older guy - so old I remember my mom thinking I was too young at 12 to see the original Ghostbusters in the theaters in 1985. But once I saw it repeatedly on VHS, I was in love and was one of the first in line at the local theater to see G2 in '89.
I’ve always loved the stories, the characters, the cartoon… everything about the Ghostbusters. I knew there were people out there who had costumes, but I never knew about this site until I was introduced to it by a friend who is currently building his costume. I recently helped him with the first stages of construction of his Neutrona (sp) wand. I’m not that “up” on the specific names of parts other than Ecto 1, proton pack, trap, and containment unit, so I may not get the name or spelling right every time. 
But I’m here and eager to learn.
A little more about me - I’ve been costuming for almost 5 years now as a Mandalorina Merc. I know there are some here who are also Mercs, and I currently serve as the 2nd in command of the Florida chapter. I also have my own prop making business on the side called the Mandalirian Arsenal. I currently specialize in Mandalorian parts and pieces for costumes, but you never know what I may pick up in the future. But, more on that as ya’ll get to know me around here. 
That’s about it for now. Time to bust some ghosts…
