:? Does anyone know how to make grips without foam or fiberglass?
I think you post this at the wrong place. Are you talking about making one for the proton pack?
Few people did it with AXE bottles.
Other people use bottles from the auto parts store. I forgot which bottle it was.
I am going to use the bottles that I found at K mart that is similar to AXE bottles. You will find them right next to the AXE bottles.
I am actually talking about grips in general, but thanks for that! 
..you like grips so much you want “general” grips? Heh, that almost sounds like a disease.. So you can put them on the neutrona wand, or swap them to your nine in case of a real emergency..? :lol:
It dawned on me recently that a great place to get the right kind of grips would be from bicycle shops etc..

The auto bottle would be Gumout. It’s an fuel additive that’s suppossed to clean out your system or something like that. It’s got a pretty similar grip style. The only thing you’d have to do would be cut away a section of the grip area because it’s a little wide. I’ve never done this myself, but that’s what Norm suggests in his plans.

I’ve looked at the AXE shower gel bottles, and I personally don’t like them. For one thing, they’re way too slim. You’d have to widen them out somehow to get them to fit over 1" PVC. Gumout would probably be a better option, but as Norm says in his plans, you’d have to cut away a section down the middle of the grip to shorten them (they’re a little too wide).
got twelve American dollars? BUY FROM PROPFAN! Best gosh darned parts you could ask for. Why don’t people buy from him? I bought just about eerything he had and man does my pack look good now! HIS GRIPS ARE AMAZING!
Wow.. I didn’t even know he had grips for sale.. Or that they were that cheap? Cool.
I used Propfan grips on my pack long ago. They needed to be sanded a lot to fit the standard sized PVC. I think he makes bigger ones now..

I am not 100% sure but I THINK i used just regular 1 inch PVC pipe and the grips fit perfectly. I highly recomend PROPFAN’S grips! Check out the pics of my packs in the props section and see for your self!
