If you have a legitimate question, you’re not being a pain. 
If you’re talking about the grips, you’ve got a few choices. I used the rubber grips off an old bicycle. It’s not 100% accurate, but they fit the part and they were free. Norm’s plans also suggest using empty bottles of GumOut (an engine cleaner you can get at Wal-Mart or any auto parts store) to build grips. Check out his plans for more details. thanks for the help guys but what is the metal piece that the plastic tube goes on, its inside the gips its so the nose can “Get hard”
That image above is a pretty special thing. It’s the only one i’ve ever seen on here built like that. Mine aren’t nearly as good as that. I will try to do something similar if i ever build another pack. What i’m saying is good luck if trying to replicate that, and if you do don’t forget to post pictures of its glory if you do!
Looking at it i would say it’s Aluminium tubing with a groove cut down it’s length with a spring inside. The Acrylic tube is slightly smaller so it fits inside perfectly. The bronze coloured piece looks like copper pipe with a plastic bush stuck in to run along the groove of the aluminium. There must be a catch mechanism that hold the bush in place until you twist the barrell at which point the spring pushes the acrylic tube upwards.
