Yeah, but the color difference is noticable.
Some spraypaint designed for plastic might fix that though. I have no idea if it would chip and crack with that much flex however, or if it might affect the flexibility.
Ebay usually has it. I checked all the local pet stores, and none carried it, so online is your best bet.
I found some of this at the local pet store, and it turned out the outer radius looks notably smaller than the GBFans hose, plus it didn’t seem that much more flexible to me. Also the ribs were thicker than the grooves which gives it a different appearance. Seemed like it was made out of the same kinda plastic, just grayish instead of black.
I’ll take some side by side comparison shots since I have samples of both. I’m at work now so it’ll be a day or two.
I, for one, am very happy with the look and the flexibility of the Fluval hose. It’s definitely much more flexible and hangs better than the GB fans hose. To each his own, really.
I used the GB fans hose for the other short section that goes on the pack so it wasn’t a loss at all.
