HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Thanksgiving is a tradition were everyone gets togther with friends and family and we eat and give thanks, it was started by the pilgrims and the american indians. Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of jesus and get togther with family and friends again, and we exchage gifts and stuff and have a good time. I hope this helps ya out.

LOL oh right i understand now. thanks for the explanations. i remember in adams family 2, at summer camp they do a thanksgiving play, with pilgrims and stuff i still thought it was about having christmas dinner… so kinda like christmas but without presents, so in other words bring on christmas lol
funny enough, in spiderman 1 where there all sitting downs for thanksgiving, i always thought it was odd they didnt hav a xmas tree or any lights up lol, i thought it added to the fact that peter and harry had just recently moved in lol.

My Thanksgiving went like this: first, I disconnected all my phones, then I went upstairs and started playing music with the speakers at maximum volume. Then I drank hard liquor until I passed out. Then I got up and went to work.

You really want to know what Thanksgiving is about? It has to do with Americans doing what Americans do best: consuming disgusting amounts of (really bad) food, and subjugating a race of indigenous people through violence and deception.

However, it is important to note that at the time, these so-called “Americans” were actually stupid Brits that committed self-exile. It’s funny how British people aren’t aware of Thanksgiving, and all the while they are partially responsible for its existence.
As it stands today, the most anyone ever thinks about when they hear “Thanksgiving” is as follows:
No surprise really, it just isn’t a major part of the British education corriculum.
I don’t think I even learnt all that much about the War of Independence in school compared to our own English Civil War.
eh, it’s meaningless. Some would argue that it’s a day where we should reflect on what we’re thankful for. There isn’t much that I’m grateful for, but in America, you have 1% of the population sitting in complete luxury, power, and privilege, then you have 49% busting their balls to avoid starvation, and the other 50% are living in poverty, and have no choice but to resort to crime, or join the military. I know those aren’t exact percentages, but they aren’t exaggerated, either. and if you’re reading this, then I encourage you to remember that I am not interested in an argument, and any protest you have at the ready for this post will go unnoticed.
Back on track: Thanksgiving is complete BULLSHIT! That’s why nobody knows about it, and they shouldn’t. It’s hypocritical, it’s hedonistic, and it’s a lie, so it’s a perfect Holiday, by American standards.
