What interests me is that they have a really nice photo of the Spengler Hero that was auctioned last year through Profiles In History. Was this on Clippard’s site before the auction or after? Is it possible that Clippard purchased the Spengler pack?
I believe that’s an image from the auction house / catalog. The Clippard website updated around the time the Matty wand was released. Matty had to work out a partnership with Clippard to use the name on their toy wands. Also notice there is a picture of the Matty wand on that clippard site.
Cool! Love how they present it as just another pneumatic valve application and play along.

This makes perfect sense. I didn’t even realize the hero image was from the auction house catalog.
