Has anyone ever crossed the streams?

There is a slim chance of survival, y’know.

I was watching the end of the first film last night and got to wondering - wouldn’t it be awesome to have a ‘Crossing the Streams’ mode installed into the Proton Pack/gun? Not only is it a staple of the film franchise but the group uses it quite a lot if you look at the countless number of occurances in film/comics/video games and other sources. I think it would be a very cool centerpiece for a franchise that has three or four or even more packs in their crew.

I was thinking the sound of the proton stream would change as it did in the film, the Pack lights would change (increase in intensity/speed?) and the light and the end of the gun would as well. I guess the logical way to enter it would to just flick a switch but if a method could be devised where anytime two guns are such a proximity near each other the pack would automatically enter it as in the film.

Just wondering if this has ever been done or discussed before. If done well (and the members of this community often do things exceedingly past well) it could be an awesome addition to the pack’s light and sound show.

This is a cool idea. It’s very possible, but it’s one of those things that not a lot of people would try to implement into their packs. Although one day I’m sure someone will take the time, and we will all oooh and aaaah.

A good idea came from protoncharger, I think, wherein the captured “ghosts” inside ghost traps would react to one another when placed in close proximity.

And lets not forget the Matty goggles will supposedly interact with the Matty PKE somehow.

I think there are a lot of cool possibilities for different props to interact with one another, but until that one crazy person decides to implement it, it’s not anything more than a cool idea.

Yep it was me.

This is a really cool idea. There are a BUNCH of groups here that hang out all the time and are pretty crafty with their packs; i’d love to see them tackle this.

Hell i’d like to give it a shot on my packs!..if i had any idea where to begin with that kind of voodoo.
