Haslab ribbon cable connector - 3D print

Hey all, I’m looking to replace the ribbon cable on pack Haslab pack but I dont want to open up the connector - does anyone know of a 3d print file for a replacement? I’ve looked on thingyverse and the like but haven’t found anything.

Are you saying you want to put a new ribbon inside the stock connector, but don’t want to open up that connector? I don’t see how that’s possible.

There is at least one company that sells a HasLab compatible connector that uses the OEM slots: C&A Prop Design. You can find them on Facebook pretty easily.

No sorry, I mean I want to replace the connecter completely with a 3d print, which would include it clipping into the slot and pushing down the little button behind it.

I haven’t seen any freely available models for 3D printed replacements. What cable are you swapping in? A GB1-style cable is going to have a lot of torque, and may be more stress than a 3D print can handle. Tiny 3D printed tabs seem especially fragile, with a thick ribbon pulling on them. (Moving parts, too)

But it never hurts to try.

If you struck out at Thingiverse, maybe check Yeggi and Printables, too?

I’m giving my own design a try  I did find someone who was selling a STL, but they wanted $25 for it…
