I was so excited about the Haslab pack having the interior of the cyclotron. I am curious as to what people are doing with them. And I thought I’d make a post to show mine off, currently, and see what others are doing.
Oh, nicely done. 
I too dry-brushed the interior of the cyclotron lid with a metallic aluminum and a bit of brass craft paints.
Looks MUCH better!!
Yeah the lid was fun. I added some rainbow wire to the ring around too.
I agree, it’s a great way to kill some time while I await for my order of new brass fittings from GBHQ Parts on Etsy to arrive.
However, I’m having a hard time finding the 3 elbow fittings that won’t cost me an arm and a leg.
I may borrow the ribbon cable idea with a thin strip of the pack’s original ribbon cable - which oddly enough, has real copper wires inside.

Did we ever see those light up in the movie?
Nope. The “workbench” pack was a special prop only shown in Egon’s lab where Phoebe does some repairs. The lights near the switches are never shown lit up either. We do see the core of the cyclotron taken out and it has a cable running from it that hooks in there somewhere.
