Ok, so when I go out, I always have a hat on. I feel nakid without one. So for my costume this year I’m going to be wearing a ballcap. I already picked up a tan one today and I was going to throw on the no ghost patch. Then I got to thinking about what else I could possibly do with it. I figured I would throw the figurative hat in the ring and see what all else you guys could come up with.
I figure I could put the phone number or something one it. I’m not all sure. I don’t want it to ‘busy’. Kinda simple. Just looking for some other ideas.
I’m the same way. After looking at the ones available on Evilbay and Amazon and realizing I had a Hot Topic patch sitting around already I went to the thrift store and bought a black hat for $1. It has some company logo on it but the patch covered it.
Anything else you want to add though would have to either already be in patch form or be embroidered on. Personally I think simpler is better.
yeah, I went to Goodwill and snatched up some black and gold hats from some company and ironed on some cheap GB patches, so $3 for some Steel City GB custom hats is my speed. I got a black one at the Dolar stor for a buck but haven’t put the patch on (should have bought more patches I keep forgetting to post those pics. Did I take them? There is embroidery on the back that i will paint over but the black on yellow I’m out of luck unless I can iron on something over it or just leave it. It says something about “for your equipment needs” or something so it may be funny to just leave it on.
LMFAO. To funny. Sorry, already have a tan hat and way to much money spent on stuff for this Halloween. Maybe next year on that one… Only if I can find one of those ones that Richard Petty has with all of the stuff on it. yea right lol. I’m not a Texan, just transplanted here for a short time. Maybe the Dallas buster could use that as their ‘schtick’. Lol. Thanks though.
I’ve been thinking one with a logo on the front and “Ghostbusters” or your franchise name embroidered across the back. Maybe a military style hat since the rest of the uniform is military surplus.
Yeah, the size of the patch would need to be significantly smaller, but there’s plenty of different size patches out there to choose from that have been deemed too small to be accurate for the arm badge of the uniform. Can’t be too hard to find a hat to fit one of them well enough. Maybe not the style I posted above, but something.
