I am a huge movie fan and prop builder. Most of my builds are armor related like War Machine and Iron Man. The proton pack has always been super high on my hit list of builds, but I was daunted by the cost of the kind of pack I would have wanted.
One of my good friends just bought a full flying A+ game version pack with light, sound and beautiful details. He literally gave me his C level pack. Just showed up on my door and because I had helped him with a very small favor, left her with me and said, “you’re the only one I trust to give her a good home and bring her up to standards and make repairs on her.” Plus he wants me to troop with him!!! Im in heaven lol…I was flattered and despite having commissions for props on two indie films, I have started looking into and making small repairs. Doing so I quickly realized this pack wasn’t as far out of canon as I had assumed! Very excited and will probably be asking dumb questions like a noob lol. The pack is wood, but the measurements are very close and some tweaking, proper hardware and love should make her presentable…now if only the Mattel wand wasn’t so expensive sigh
