First, I have followed this page for a few years, all while collecting Ghostbusters merchandise. Since I was very little, I remember there being something about the Ghostbusters that would stick with me. A few years ago I began going to conventions for the first time, and that is when I saw my first fan made Proton Pack. The more fans I met, the more nice and helpful everyone was. I knew that this community is a nurturing one, with strangers willing to help you make your dreams come true. OK, that is enough for the mushy stuff! I am a 29 year old Instructional Designer from Somerset, Kentucky. I have a lovely and very supportive wife along with our cat April (Her first birthday is coming up). Together, my wife and I have met a few celebrities through conventions and just plain luck. We like to see movies and will give about anything a try. Growing up there was kind of a Ghostbusters drought, but when Matty started their adult collector line, I had enough income to start a collection. The 12 in. figures were very expensive, so I acquired them a little later on, but I have all but 2 of the 6 in. figures. The Rookie and Courtroom Ego have eluded me . Anyways, I will be posting more as I hope to begin work on my first Proton Pack. Truthfully, I didn’t know what all to post here, so if anyone has any questions, please ask!
Welcome to the madhou… I mean Firehouse
Thanks! Very excited to be here
Somerset is a wonderful place! From someone up near Louisville, welcome to the fold! I’d encourage you to keep a build thread here when you get rolling - they are fun to watch, and fun to go back and read later :).
Thanks Travis, I’ll be sure to add a thread on this.
