Hello there....

Hi all from a long time Ghostbusters fan. was into the movies as a kid, I remember I kept these two VHS tapes with GB 1 & 2 recorded from christmas tele sometime around 1986 for the first, the second I guess was 1990, with ad breaks. I cherished these VHS tapes and watched them til they went kaput.

was into the real ghostbusters cartoon heavily, had a load of the toys as a kid. I guess I’m like a fair few of you guys here.

Ghostbusters 2 always stood out as my favourite, and I don’t know why some/only bill murray? think it was bad. but I musta watched that a million times in my lifetime haha. something about the Vigo character is really dark and I love the painting/dimension concept.

My views on Ghostbusters 3:

I think, although probably more costly than modern methods, should be filmed with retaining and reusing the old special effects so it sits nicely into the canon. puppet ghosts, etc. I just think it would stand the test of time better than a GB3 laden with special CGI, which inevitably it will be.

also, don’t like the idea of new gb’s coming in to carry the torch over, I understand its carrying on the series, but I’d much rather see a new cartoon with a continuation if anything, I’d like GB3 to round off the story of the original ghostbusters in a clever, great story.

Theres potential for Vigo and Gozer/Zuul to come back as they are gods after all, maybe both could come back in another giant cataclysm that only gbs’ know how to deal with! just my two cents. death is but a door time is but a window!

its good to be here, i’ve been reading these forums on and off for a number of years and I decided to join the forum.

sorry for long winded introduction but wanted to show I was a real fan and not a robot as stated

There’s been a lot of conversation about GB3 over the years. I don’t know if it’s possible for them to do a movie that will please everybody after all this time.

Take a gander at the GB3 section for more.

Welcome to GBFans
