Help- Dixie hook bracket hardware?

I have a TC gun kit, it’s near completion but I need a make a collar and wabnted to know if anyone here made one from scratch. Any info would help cause I’m trying to get this done for Thursday night . Thx

Ok so I made my own collar for now. I do need a little assistance with one last thing as I’m trying to get this thing out the door for tonight. I was waiting on a v hook but things fell threw and I have to use a dixie hook. I have never used one before, and before I start going crazy with the drill I just wanted to know if someone can point me in te right direction as far the hardware goes. Cause I just have the bracket. Thx

You can use Philips pan head machine screws, probably either #6 or #8’s. Have them long enough that they pass through the material you are mounting to and then use a combination of a washer and nut on the other side so it stays in place.

Here’s a shot of the orientation I used for the dixie brackets on a pack I built last year for a buddy.

And then you just have the other half of the bracket mounted on the gun mount box of the shell using the same method.
