I’m trying to build my own pack and I’m not very good with electronics or know anything about it. So far I understand that I can buy the Spirit Halloween pack, add some new lights and cosmetics from this thing I found on Ebay. I could add an Alice frame to it by buying the frame and some brackets. I also want to replace the wand it comes with to my matty wand and that’s when it gets complicated for me and I’ve found so many tips like to get the GBfan ampflified sound board and power cell and cyclotron light kit and I’m not even sure how I would go about hooking it up correctly. I’m not sure what’s best for me as an amateur at best electrician. I was wondering if anyone could hook me up with some good ideas, things to buy, and tips. I’ll include the links to the stuff I’ve found so far and it would be greatly appreciated if anyone could give their two cents on the matter.

Howdy,

With the GBFans electronics, from what I understand its best to build the wand instead of using the Matty, but hooking up is pretty much plug and play when it comes to the wiring portion of things.

As for the spirit pack, I’m not really familiar with the set up for those, I built mine using GBFan parts at full scale, so the shell and MoBo. it is a lot less cost efficient that way but looks extremely more authentic.

The cosmetic kit / light upgrades, Matty sound board and ALICE frame brackets are all from forum user spongeface, check the Sales forum and there are a couple of threads from him. Probably a little cheaper to buy direct from him too!

If you get the light upgrade kit you won’t need the Power Cell and Cyclotron light kit, it’s already in the other light kit. The GBFans soundboard and the matty soundboard are also one of spongeface’s designs, and I think all of his electronics are pretty much plug and play. I’d suggest dropping him a PM if you have specific questions though :slight_smile:
